Day 1 - “On the skis, life feels like a breeze”

The adventure begins with a day of exhilarating skiing on the amazing slopes of Voss Resort. Our expert guides will lead you through pristine slopes, offering a mix of terrain suitable to your skill level. Whether you're an absolute beginner or an experienced skier, you'll find the perfect runs to satisfy your craving for the slopes. With the crisp winter air in your face and stunning vistas all around, this is your opportunity to carve your path in the snow.

Once your appetite for skiing is satisfied, the charming town of Voss awaits with museums, the Church, and cosy cafés.

Day 2 - “Walk on nature’s fluffy pillows”

On day two, immerse yourself in the pristine winter environment and enjoy the quiet beauty that only snowshoeing can offer. Explore the untouched beauty of the snow-covered hillsides as you meander through forests and trails, discovering the serenity of nature at its finest. This is why we have teamed up with some of the best hotels and lodges to ensure that your time indoors provides you with ample amenities for well-deserved relaxation. This includes Wi-Fi, TV, laundry, and on-site spa facilities.

FLIGHTS & TRANSFERS

Airfare is not included in this package and will need to be booked separately by the individual. Many airlines fly to Bergen including KLM, Delta, SAS, Norwegian Air, Iceland Air, and Qatar Airways.

Guests arriving on Bergen Flesland International Airport shall take a Tram to Bergen Central Station.

From Bergen Central Station you can experience a wonderful Train journey to Voss. The train ride takes just over one hour.

From the Voss Train station, is only 50 metres to your accommodation.

In Voss, all the transportation to the tour locations are included.

Our Lifetime Guarantee allows any of our Clients forced to delay a departure or wanting to switch tour packages altogether the ability to apply their initial deposit towards a later scheduled date or another Person at no extra charge. As long as you give us 61 days’ notice, your deposit will be good forever, whether you use it for the same trip or transfer it to another one. A Lifetime Guarantee has no expiration date and can be used for any departure – provided room is still available, and the accommodation availability you are welcome to join in another departure.

Simply put, we want to ensure you can enjoy the Outdoor Norway experience you want, at a time that works best for you.

A Lifetime Guarantee is also transferable, meaning that you can transfer your deposit to another Friend as a gift or for a fee, it's up to you.

WHEN DOES YOUR SEASON START AND END?

We kick off our rafting season once the river is free of ice, continuing until the snow starts to fall! Typically, this runs from early May to late October, but it's all in the hands of Mother Nature! You can find our current opening dates and times on our webpage.

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR WHEN ARRIVING?

In Voss, there are several public parking options available

One is situated close to town, adjacent to the Station Cafe, near Vangsvatnet lake.

About 2,4 kilometers before reaching Voss from Bergen, there's a free parking area suitable for large campervans.

The parking space right by our base belongs to Fleischer's Hotel. It's a paid parking area, and they typically send the bill by mail to the address registered to your car. For rental cars, they'll send the bill to the rental company, charging the fee from your credit card on file.

DO YOU HAVE A RESTROOM AT THE BASE?

Unfortunately, we don't have a restroom available at our Base.

However, you're welcome to use the facilities nearby. There are options at the petrol station, Voss Kulturhus, or at the train station for your convenience.

SHOULD I TIP MY GUIDE?

Tipping isn't customary in Norway, as it is e.g. in the USA. Our guides put in considerable effort to ensure your experience is both enjoyable and safe, maintaining the high standards set by Outdoor Norway.

While tipping is recognized as a standard practice in the industry and is always welcomed, it's never an obligation. It's entirely up to your discretion whether you choose to leave a tip. Your appreciation for the service provided is greatly valued either way.

CAN I LEAVE MY BAG/LUGGAGE AT THE BASE?

Yes absolutely, that's not an issue at all.

We have shelves available for storing your belongings while you're out on a tour. Rest assured, there's always a member of our staff present at the base, so your items will be securely looked after— nothing goes missing on our watch!

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?

Yes.

Upon joining any activity, a waiver acknowledging risks must be read and signed. For minors, a parent or guardian is required to sign the waiver.
