Day 1 - “The only thing you need is a hunger for winter sports”

Day 2 - “A boundless view of an ancient glacier bottom ”

📍Voss - Hardanger

Day two invites you to explore the magical Hardangerfjord region on a snowshoe hike. Strap on your snowshoes and venture into this winter paradise. Traverse through enchanting forests and across pristine snowfields, taking in the panoramic views of the fjord. Our guided tour ensures an immersive experience suitable for all ages, making it a perfect family outing.

You will be shuttled to the starting point of this tour with a chance to soak in the unique beauty of fjord and mountain scenery.

Day 3 - “Another day, another thrill”

📍Myrkdalen

Conclude your winter getaway with a day of skiing at Myrkdalen, a destination known for its versatile, but family-friendly, slopes and scenic surroundings. Whether you're a seasoned skier or just starting out, Myrkdalen offers a variety of slopes to cater to everyone’s skill levels. Bond with your loved ones over the thrill of skiing or around a hot beverage in the slope restaurant, and soak in the stunning vistas that surround you.

With multiple days spent in Norwegian mountains, it is important to have comfortable accommodations that will provide you with a good night’s rest.

This is why we have teamed up with some of the best hotels and lodges to ensure that your time indoors provides you with ample amenities for well-deserved relaxation. This includes Wi-Fi, TV, laundry, and on-site spa facilities.

FLIGHTS & TRANSFERS

Airfare is not included in this package and will need to be booked separately by the individual. Many airlines fly to Bergen including KLM, Delta, SAS, Norwegian Air, Iceland Air, and Qatar Airways.

Guests arriving on Bergen Flesland International Airport shall take a Tram to Bergen Central Station.

From Bergen Central Station you can experience a wonderful Train journey to Voss. The train ride takes just over one hour.

From the Voss Train station, is only 50 metres to your accommodation.

In Voss, all the transportation to the tour locations are included.

Our Lifetime Guarantee allows any of our Clients forced to delay a departure or wanting to switch tour packages altogether the ability to apply their initial deposit towards a later scheduled date or another Person at no extra charge. As long as you give us 61 days’ notice, your deposit will be good forever, whether you use it for the same trip or transfer it to another one. A Lifetime Guarantee has no expiration date and can be used for any departure – provided room is still available, and the accommodation availability you are welcome to join in another departure.

Simply put, we want to ensure you can enjoy the Outdoor Norway experience you want, at a time that works best for you.

A Lifetime Guarantee is also transferable, meaning that you can transfer your deposit to another Friend as a gift or for a fee, it's up to you.

DO I NEED TO BE PHYSICALLY FIT TO GO ON THIS EXPERIENCE?

We suggest that all our guests have good physical health for winter activities.

If you have any medical concerns but still wish to go skiing, we advise consulting with your doctor beforehand for your safety. Remember to always ski according to your own skill and fitness level.

DOES THIS EXPERIENCE CATER TO SENIORS?

Our winter tours have no maximum age limit; as long as you're physically fit, and you are enthusiastic, you're welcome to join!

CAN I BRING MY OWN GEAR, SUCH AS SNOWSHOES, SKIS OR A HELMET?

Yes, you may bring your own snowshoes, slalom skis and helmet.

When it comes to backcountry skis, you can bring your own skis if they have a touring binding that enables releasing the heel for uphill hiking using skins.

CAN I USE MY OWN GEAR FOR MOUNTAIN BIKING, SUCH AS HELMET, PEDALS OR GLOVES?

Yes, absolutely!

Our mountain bikes are equipped with standard flat pedals featuring pins. However, we also offer clip-in SPD and Crankbrothers pedals for those who prefer using clip-in shoes.
If you wish to utilize your own pedals and/or saddle, kindly bring them along, and upon your arrival, we'll happily replace them for you.
To ensure we accommodate your preferences smoothly, please notify us in advance by replying to your booking confirmation email. This way, we can prepare accordingly for your visit.

SHOULD I TIP MY GUIDE?

Tipping isn't customary in Norway, as it is e.g. in the USA. Our guides put in considerable effort to ensure your experience is both enjoyable and safe, maintaining the high standards set by Outdoor Norway.

While tipping is recognized as a standard practice in the industry and is always welcomed, it's never an obligation. It's entirely up to your discretion whether you choose to leave a tip. Your appreciation for the service provided is greatly valued either way.

CAN I LEAVE MY BAG/LUGGAGE AT THE BASE?

Yes absolutely, that's not an issue at all.

We have shelves available for storing your belongings while you're out on a tour. Rest assured, there's always a member of our staff present at the base, so your items will be securely looked after— nothing goes missing on our watch!

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER?

Yes.

Upon joining any activity, a waiver acknowledging risks must be read and signed. For minors, a parent or guardian is required to sign the waiver.
