Digital Marketing Specialist

Compensation: Hourly wage based on experience.

The specialist in digital content marketing at Outdoor Norway, reporting to the company’s director, will manage and expand the company by implementing digital content strategies to drive audience acquisition, retention, and engagement. You will enhance our core value with summer data and deliver best-in-class digital experiences to increase audience engagement and conversion. The job will require agility, a data-driven approach, and dedication and passion for the Mountain Travel Lifestyle to be successful.

Key Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist

  • Managing successful

    journey-based adventure programs

  • Managing Marketing action on CRM

    leading the journey to success in HubSpot

  • Managing marketing relationships

    with collaborators and create new business opportunities

  • Support Web Team

    with site audits and content updates

  • Content creation for

    the company’s website, blog and social media channels

  • Manage Marketing Service Desk tickets

    for timely follow-up, question resolution and completion

  • Support team to proactively clear

    through roadblocks and/or escalate problem solving to ensure

    timely project completion

  • Create new and audit currently

    Pre- and post-trip lists, in travel planner software

  • Drive performance

    and optimisation of the e-commerce website with a focus on conversions

  • Handling and editing photo and video material 

    for promotion and drive sales throughout the different seasons

Desirable qualifications & skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, tourism, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related content environment at a digital publisher.
  • Track record of delivering measurable results based on analysis, problem-solving, agility, and collaboration.
  • Excellent writing, editing, copyediting, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize among multiple competing agendas and projects.
  • Experience in a KPI-driven environment with a desire to test and learn.

  • Data management platforms

  • SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahref

  • Experience updating CMS content as WP or HubCMS

  • A/B testing using tools like Google Optimize and FB pixel.

  • Email proficiency using Mailchimp or similar.

  • Experience with Hubspot Marketing Hub

  • Knowledge of ADOBE software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, or Premiere.

  • Experience with Meta Ad Manager, Google Ads, TikTok, and LinkedIn ads.

  • Experience managing social media platform

  • Experience with one or more of these channels: Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok campaigns

  • Develop marketing strategies for both established and new products.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with the Sales, Customer Success and Operations teams.

      Salary Range:

      We believe in transparency and fairness—it's part of who we are. Our salary range applies to both new hires and current team members, ensuring everyone is treated equally. Typically, new team members start between the minimum and midpoint of the range, leaving plenty of room for growth. We love rewarding dedication, high performance, and the contributions that help us scale new heights!

      Where You'll Be
      Our HQ is right here in the heart of Voss, Norway's Adventure Mecca! Most of our office roles are onsite because, let’s face it, nothing beats being surrounded by these epic landscapes and a good camaraderie. We get it—flexibility matters. That’s why we offer work-from-anywhere two weeks yearly!

      For roles that can be remote, pay will be adjusted based on where you’re located, but the adventure mindset stays the same.
